Hearing Evaluations

A hearing evaluation is used to determine the status of one’s hearing. We will place you in our soundproof booth and test your range of hearing in both the right and left ear. This will help establish if there is hearing loss or not.

Consultations

Following a hearing evaluation, we will discuss your options concerning your hearing. If we determine that you have a hearing loss, we will establish the best strategy to tackle your hearing needs. This will include talking about different hearing aid technologies, and price points, seeing if your insurance will help cover the cost of the hearing aids, and what type of hearing aid will best fit your lifestyle.

Hearing Aid Fittings

Once we determine the best hearing aid according to your hearing needs and preferences, we will fit you with your new devices. A hearing aid fitting is the start of your hearing journey. We will begin with an initial fit, and then in the following months, we will continue to adjust and program your hearing aids to ensure your hearing aid journey is successful. We fit Phonak, Resound, Widex, Oticon, and Starkey hearing aids.

Hearing Aid Adjustments

Over time our hearing can change and when it does, the old prescription in your hearing aid will need to be adjusted accordingly. Your comfort and clarity are always our top priorities. We can make changes so that your hearing aids continue to participate in your everyday activities.

Hearing Aid Repairs and Services

There may be times when your hearing aids are not functioning as they should, or some maintenance needs to be done to the devices. We can clean and fix hearing aids in the office. However, if the hearing aids are beyond repair in the office, we will send your devices to the manufacturer, who will determine the issue and repair the instruments. We work with Phonak, Resound, Widex, Oticon, and Starkey hearing aids.
